Our Lives Have Changed. But the Game Must Go On.

June 30, 2020

Despite social distancing measures that have locked fans out of stadiums, the Korea Baseball Organization is continuing to broadcast games and find new ways to engage its supporters. Samsung has captured some of the magic of Korean baseball with the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Check out these videos to see how you can enjoy KBO games this summer season.

From the crack of a bat to the enthusiastic cheers from energetic fans, there are so many things that we love about baseball – and so many things that we’ve missed since the pandemic brought the sports world to a standstill.

Recently, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) gave people around the world something to cheer for by becoming one of the first sports leagues to get back to playing ball. With thorough cleaning protocols in place to protect the health and safety of players and staff, the KBO has been back in action for more than a month now. Unfortunately, however, teams have been forced to press on without the most important element of all: the millions of fans that make this league so special.

Captured using the Galaxy S20 Ultra and narrated by MLB star and former NC Dinos first baseman Eric Thames, the video below spotlights how KBO teams are adjusting to this era of crowdless games, and giving people hope for an eventual return to normal life.

From Space Zoom to Slow Motion, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is the perfect tool for capturing your favorite sports moments. Here’s how Samsung caught some behind-the-scenes baseball action with the Galaxy S20 Ultra camera.
