[Photo] Samsung Showcases Gear S3 Concept Watches at Baselworld 2017

Samsung participated in Baselworld 2017 by showcasing the Gear S3 and their collaboration with luxury watch designer, Yvan Arpa, and industrial designer Arik Levy who inspired a new strap design.

Samsung’s participation in Baselworld 2017 began with a press event on March 23, 2017, featuring Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics, renowned luxury watch designer Yvan Arpa and industrial designer Arik Levy. Yvan Arpa collaborated with Samsung to design three new concept watches to Samsung’s Gear S3, combining mechanical movement with state-of-the-art electronics; and Arik Levy contributed a new strap design, in addition to creating Samsung’s strikingly sleek exhibition space at the event.

By marrying the best of digital and analog craftsmanship, Samsung is continuing its pursuit of meaningful innovations that create solutions which sit at the nexus of technology, content and services, all encompassed in a sophisticated timepiece.
