Samsung Gives Thousands of Galaxy Tab 10.1 Devices to Developers

Samsung will provide its latest tablet as a reference device to developers from around the world attending Google I/O conference

SEOUL, May 11, 2011 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, today announced that it is providing 5,500 GALAXY Tab 10.1 devices to developers attending the Google I/O (Innovation in the Open) conference at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, USA.

The 4th Google I/O is the world’s largest conference for mobile and web developers with over 5,000 participants from around the world. Samsung is providing attendees with a special edition GALAXY Tab 10.1 engraved with the Android emblem, with which developers can create new and exciting applications for Honeycomb, the latest version of the Android operating system.
