New GALAXY S III TV Commercial for the London 2012 Olympic Games
Samsung is supporting its Olympic Games campaign with a TV commercial created to amplify the GALAXY S III’s role in the Olympic Games. Few can build anticipation, buzz and excitement quite like David Beckham, and therefore casting him to launch the commercial was the perfect choice.
David Beckham, Samsung’s official ambassador for the London 2012 Olympic Games, opens the commercial with a message on his Samsung GALAXY S III asking ‘are you ready？’. Naturally, Beckham answers with a boyish ‘Yep’ and marks the beginning of the games by landing an impossibly perfect kick across a football field and onto a moving gong. Then begins a highly energetic and emotively charged sequence that sees people all over the world watch and share Beckham’s spectacular kick through their GALAXY S III. The Olympic Games spirit spreads fast and soon inspires young and old from across the globe to embrace the London 2012 Games as ‘Everyone’s Games’.
The TV commercial will be aired starting July 16th in more than 20 countries including UK, France and China.
Mobile Applications for the Olympic Games
Samsung also introduces “Samsung: Take Part 2012”, a new Android Application designed to bring consumers closer to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
