Samsung partners with Swarovski at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Samsung collaborates with Swarovski to design its backstage VIP lounge and debuts a limited-edition cover for the Galaxy Note 3

New York, NY – February 4, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., today announced a partnership with Swarovski the global leader in cut crystal and fashion jewelry, taking place at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week FW14 (MBFW) in New York. Samsung and Swarovski have collaborated to create a beautifully designed, exclusive backstage Samsung Galaxy Lounge within Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and a stunning limited-edition cover encrusted with Swarovski crystals for the recently launched Galaxy Note 3.

The backstage Samsung Galaxy Lounge will feature custom sparkling decor including a stunning Swarovski crystal curtain. Samsung’s lounge will host influencers such as models, designers and other celebrities, allowing them space to escape the hustle and bustle of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and check out the latest Samsung devices.

Samsung and Swarovski have also teamed up to create a limited-edition cover for the Galaxy Note 3, making it the must-have accessory this spring. Bundled with a sparkling bracelet, the custom Galaxy Note 3 cover is covered in exquisite Swarovski Fine Crystal Rocks and available in three colors –Jet (black), a custom blend of Crystal Bermuda Blue and Crystal Metallic Light Gold, and Crystal Metallic Silver. The bracelet and cover bundle will be available for purchase at the Swarovski retail store at 696 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York for a limited time and will retail for $299.
