With the Galaxy S10’S Wireless PowerShare2 capabilities you can charge Qi-certified phones, and wearables, like the Galaxy Buds, on the go so you never have to worry about running out of juice. Even if your battery does get low, with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 you can charge your device up to 36 percent faster than the previous generation of phones2, bringing you back up to a full charge in no time at all.
But it wasn’t enough to create a better battery – the battery also needed to outperform the best on the market. The answer? Artificial Intelligence.
An Intelligent Performance Enhancer
Making sure your phone lasts all day requires more than just putting in a bigger battery – it also means optimizing how the power it provides is used. To boost power efficiency, Samsung introduced a suite of intelligent performance tools to the Galaxy S10 that work together to give you a seamless experience and a battery that lasts all day.
App Pre-loading and vRamDisk, work together to ready resources in advance to improve app response. App Pre-loading learns your app usage pattern and predicts what apps you will load next. For example, if you tend to open your messenger app after using your camera, then your messenger app will be pre-loaded when you open your camera app.
The vRamDisk works in conjunction with App Pre-loading by reading and bringing the resources needed for app launching, such as windows and images, onto RAM. It also allows frequently used apps to be accessed more quickly by learning on which page the app is on the screen launcher, so the resources can be pre-loaded for that specific page.
