Edelman Intelligence & Crimson Hexagon conducted a comprehensive online analysis to identify top stories, media organizations, and journalists, who wrote about Samsung products and services in 2017. Data was sourced from Edelman Intelligence & Crimson Hexagon’s proprietary data collection technology, which collects content from millions of news stories, blogs, and social media sources globally.
Analysis from Edelman Intelligence focused on five global languages: English, Spanish, French, German, and Chinese, and included content from online news, blogs, print, broadcast, and select public-facing social media channels (i.e. public Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts).
Social media analytics from Crimson Hexagon reviewed 1 trillion social conversations in 40 languages across 230 countries, generated across diverse platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, forums, reviews, news, blogs, YouTube, and more.
Key metrics are based on content published in English, French, German, Spanish and Chinese by online news outlets, blogs, print media, broadcasters, Twitter, and public Facebook and Instagram posts from Jan. 1 to Nov. 19, 2017.
